OVERVIEW: The AS-2 KIPPER (K-10SP) is an air-launched, long-range, supersonic, liquid-fuel, turbojet-powered, electronics counter-measure drone.
DETAILS: A modification of the K-10S, the K-10SP was designed primarily with an active jammer in place of the warhead, and was intended to provide support an ASM strike with jamming.
NOTES: The AS-2 became operational in 1961. It was carried by the Tu-16K-10P (BADGER-C).
