OVERVIEW: The GBU-15(V)1/B CWW (Cruciform Wing Weapon) is a unpowered glide bomb.
DETAILS: The basic GBU-15 configuration consists of a bolt-on guidance/fin section and a cruciform wing group and data link attached to a Mk 84 bomb. The GBU-15(V)1/B CWW guidance section uses a electro-optical sensor for guidance. The weapon can be launched at low altitude.
NOTES: IOC with Israel in 1977. IOC with U.S. in 1984. The GBU-15(V)1/B is capable of attacking targets only in daylight.
