OVERVIEW: The FIKA maritime surveillance radar is used by the Finnish Coastal Artillery. It was taken into use in the 1970-ies and reached full operational capability in the 1980-ies. The system was designed in Sweden and the designation is FIKA (Finsk Kustartilleriradar). A replacement for the system was ordered in 2009.
