OVERVIEW: The P-40 (1S12) (NATO name: LONG TRACK) is an mobile, 2-D tactical early warning radar operating in the "E" Band.

DETAILS: The P-40 LONG TRACK is a mobile early warning radar designed to equip tactical air defense units. Weapon systems associated with the P-40 include the SA-4 GANEF, SA-6 GAINFUL and SA-8 GEKO. It is usually supported by a THIN SKIN B height finding radar.
