OVERVIEW: Long-Range surveillance radar was once in widespread use throughout NATO. This radar, originally of French design, has been licence-built in India for a number of years. The radar has comprehensive ECM/ECCM capabilities and has no real detection altitude limitation. If the radar has one disadvantage, it is its sheer size.
