The PL-8H (Python 3) is a Surface-to-air version of the PL-8 air to air Python missile. Like the PL-8, it is a short-range, supersonic missile utilizing infrared homing and a impact/proximity fusing. It has an all aspect and a 35 G capability. The PL-8 is a legally licensed copy of the Israeli Rafael Python 3 WVR missile. T It is roughly comparable to the AIM-9L in performance.
